NSA To Close Accra Sports Stadium
The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced the closure of the Accra Sports Stadium in December to all sporting activities.
Therefore, clubs like Hearts of Oak, Accra Lions and Great Olympics, who will play their matches at the Accra Sports Stadium, will have to move to another venue for their home matches.
The stadium will, however, be used for Christmas activities.

This is contained in a letter signed by the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Professor Peter Twumasi.
“The venue will not be available for December matches, so all clubs are encouraged to use their alternative venues to honor their December matches.
The National Sports Authority would like to inform you that the Accra Sports Stadium will be unavailable in December for all sporting activities. By this letter, clubs using the Accra Sports Stadium are requested to use their alternative venues to host their home matches in December,” the letter read.
