The Aid Them Foundation, under the leadership of Mr. Samuel Amponsah, on February 24,2024, donated food items and some toiletries to the the Chosen’s Children Centre which is located at Darkuman, Accra.
Aid Them Foundation Donates To Chosen’s Children Centre
During the visit, the chairman of the Aid Them foundation had a brief conversation with the heads of the orphanage and the children. The donated items were formally presented to the orphanage.
The items donated to the orphanage included 8 cartons of assorted drinks, 6 packs of bottled water, 1 box of washing soap, 1 box of Indomie noodles, 1 box of tomato paste, 2 bags of rice, 1 bucket of powdered washing detergent, 1 gallon of cooking oil, a box of sardine, 15kg gas cylinder and 2 bags of gently used clothing.
The Project Cordinator for Aid Them Foundation, Mr. Elorm Azaglo, made it clear that the purpose of the donation was to support the vulnerable and less privileged in society. This act of kindness served to commemorate the foundation’s two-year anniversary.
The members of Aid Them Foundation did not only donate this items to the orphans, but they also interacted with them, offering words of encouragement and counsel. They instilled hope and urged the children to remain focused on their dreams and not make their current predicament a hindrance to their dreams.
