At the Baba Yara Stadium for today’s 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off match between Ghana and Nigeria, the VAR system has been successfully deployed.
To prepare for Thursday’s first leg encounter, CAF personnel arrived at the stadium to install the system on Thursday morning.

For the first time ever, Ghana will deploy VAR.
The last training session and press conference for the Black Stars will take place on Thursday afternoon.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nigeria landed in Kumasi and will train at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Black Stars are optimistic of overcoming Nigeria and qualifying for the World Cup finals in Qatar, despite being labeled as underdogs.
They must put up a solid show on today in order to advance to the return leg on Tuesday.
