Disputes between two churches at a cemetery nearly became vawlent, according to reports coming out of Kwabenakrom in Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North Region.
This is in response to an earlier instance involving a disagreement over a church member’s funeral.
There were rumors that the man’s unpaid church taxes and tithes sparked the altercation.
In light of this, his church has balked in burying him until his obligations are settled.

Distraught and outraged by this barbaric treatment, the family ultimately decided to engage the services of another church to conduct the funeral rites for their brother.
Reportedly, opposing church members attacked the funeral grounds to prevent the burial, as stated by Kwabenakrom-based reporter Gabby Antwi.
With the deceased in the casket and the surviving disputing over who should pay his church tithes and levies, the situation quickly escalated into a bloodbath.
