Starting on October 1, 2021, a countrywide SIM registration drive was scheduled to run through March 31, 2022.
Nonetheless, because to the sizable unregistered population, the deadline was pushed back to June 30th, 2022. The deadline for completing this task has been extended to September 30th, 2022, thanks to a recent ruling by the Minister of Communications and Digitalization.
In light of the aforementioned, AirtelTigo customers are strongly advised to register their SIM cards before the deadline in order to receive 1GB of free data.
“We hope our unregistered clients take advantage of the delay to finish the registration procedure before the deadline to guarantee their numbers are not banned,” said Peter Dzidzienyo, Ag. Director of Customer Experience.
The SIM registration procedure consists of two distinct phases. In order to activate your Ghana card with your SIM, you must first dial *404#.
If it doesn’t work, try dialing 1005# and responding to several security questions. In order to complete biometric capture, consumers must visit any AirtelTigo Shop or Registration Centre.
We recommend that customers come prepared with both their digital address and their Ghana Card. A free 1GB of data will be added to your account as soon as you complete the signup process.
He further said, “Now even Glo Customers may register their SIM cards at any of the AirtelTigo Shops.”
The nearest registration center or retail location may be found on our website (https://www.airteltigo.com.gh).
The registration process will also be aided by AirtelTigo employees who will join the field teams every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Institutions can have AirtelTigo registration representatives come to their workplaces by dialing 0266000100.
AirtelTigo encourages its consumers to keep their number safe, keep in touch, and keep taking advantage of the company’s fantastic deals and streamlined interface.
