A preacher in Mankessim, Central Region, is in police custody after he reportedly admitted to helping a chief abduct a 25-year-old nursing trainee and discreetly bury her in the chief’s chamber.
The exhumation of Georgina Asor Botchwey’s body took place on Tuesday, September 20th, with the pastor leading investigators to the chamber of Nana Crack, Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom.
Angel TV said that after kidnapping the girl, the two guys may have engaged in many $£..x…U@l encounters with her before k!lling her.
The chief, who is on the run at the moment, had her buried in one of his chambers.
According to reports, it’s been three weeks since the corpse was buried. Family members reported Georgina Asor Botchwey missing on the popular Facebook group Tell It All.
She reportedly told her loved ones she had a job interview in Mankessim, Central Region.
They hadn’t heard from her in many hours, and her phone line was dead, so they put up a photo of her online and asked anybody who might see her to call police.
In the meanwhile, residents of Mankessim are worried about what could have happened, especially because a chief is involved.
Cephas Arthur, the region’s Assembly representative, has asked the IGP to increase police presence in Mankessim and the surrounding area.
According to him, this is not the first similar incidence to occur in the region this year; in fact, it is the fifth such incident.
If the pastor and the chief are apprehended, he continued, the law must take action. The mortuary at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital now has the victim’s body, awaiting the results of an autopsy.
