Ghanaian – US based student Katakyie Herbert Obeng has taken upon himself to sell the name Ghana and its heritage across the globe.
He is the CEO for Herbin’s Fashion with the support from Philip Kwodjo Nyameasem his partner.
The University of Maryland student started his own fashion brand during the pandemic in November 2020.

Herbert speaking with us said, he got his inspiration from wearing African prints.
He had always wanted to pay homage to his native country’s rich cultural heritage.
Herbert decided to set out to build a clothing line that would stand out from the likes of other clothing line brands.
Aside from athleisure, Obeng’s fashion company focuses on more than just athletic wear.

Its online store offers a wide range of clothing, ranging from African print shirt for Men, Bomber Jackets, Hoodies, Tank tops and many more.
Additionally, his brand supplies to the United States, UK, Germany ,Ghana and worldwide via its online store as well as on Instagram.

He’s doing a fantastic job of promoting Africanism and increasing his business, a customer said to 24newsgh.
Obeng also has a Charity Foundation, which means that some of its profits go toward helping those in need, particularly those who are homeless.
Among their activities, Herbin’s fashion have organized 5 great fashion shows which 2 of them took place at the Howard University and George Washington University.
In the near future, I see Herbin’s Fashion to be one of the toppest selling brands as compared to Nike etc, the CEO said.
