Christian Atsu Twasam, a Ghanaian international football player, is currently undergoing the state-sponsored funeral rites.
The deceased footballer’s body is lying in state on the forecourt of the State House in Accra, where thousands of Ghanaians and world leaders are expected to pay their last respects.

Christian met his less than ideal demise when he was recuperated from the rubble of his fell loft in Hatay following a tremor that stuck Turkey on February 6, 2023.
On Monday, April 4, a memorial service in his honor was held for a week.
President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, Vice President of Ghana Mahamadu Bawumia, and other government officials, as well as teammates and officials from both domestic and international organizations, are expected to attend the event.
