Government has declared that the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) would undertake paperless registration and licencing of vehicles from July 2022.
The DVLA and the Ghana Card will also be fully connected soon, according to government.

In a tweet on Wednesday, 15 July 2022, The Presidency said: “DVLA systems and the Ghana Card platform will be fully integrated by July 2022 to permit paperless registration of vehicles and licencing of drivers while assuring easy processing of documents.”
The implementation of policies are focused towards decreasing the human element in the services being offered by most government agencies.
