Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, popularly known as Black Sherif is a Ghanaian musician and performer that hails from Konongo. Born on 9th January 2002, Black Sherif has been a lover of music and has always dreamed of becoming a world acclaimed musician.
In his Senior High School days, he was known for composing music and performing in the presence of his peers.
In 2019, Black Sherif released a freestyle titled First Sermon. Though this music was phenonemal, it wasn’t receiving the much needed traction.
Sneaker Nyame chanced upon First Sermon and went further to look for other music by the same artiste.
He discovered other dynamic songs Black Sherif had made but were not being recognized.
Sneaker Nyame developed specific strategies to help push Black Sherif into the limelight. He made at least two posts each day, admonishing people to check out Black Sherif and stream his music on the various streaming platforms.
He organized twitter spaces where he invited Black Sherif and offered him the platform to speak.
He also helped Black Sherif grow his personal twitter account to enable fans interact with him easily.
When Black Sherif dropped the First Sermon track, Sneaker Nyame lobbied and brought his influencer friends on board to help trend the song.
The song made waves on twitter and received lots of praise and applause. The numbers made on Spotify and Apple music were unprecedented.
After the first Sermon, there was the Second Sermon.
Prior to the release of this track, massive awareness was created to psyche people for the next big banger. Sneaker Nyame brought influencers like Kalyjay, Asiedu Mends, Seyram and others together to help promote and hype this track.
The second sermon created more waves and penetrated a larger audience.
Similar tactics was used for all subsequent tracks that were released. During all these times, Sneaker Nyame was unrelenting in his quest to expose Black Sherif’s musical genius to the world.
He kept pushing the brand to everyone on the twitter timeline and within a short period, he was associated with the Black Sherif name.
Aside pushing Black Sherif on the twitter timeline, Sneaker Nyame is a part of the “Road Boys Association” (RBA).
The RBA is the formidable team behind the Black Sherif music that help to push the brand both online and offline.
The success story of Black Sherif cannot be told and retold without making mention of Twitter.
Sneaker Nyame was the brain behind the first twitter exposure and is still a part of the strong twitter fan base of Black Sherif.
