A Ghanaian chef named Failatu Abdul-Razak takes on the Guinness World Record challenge to break the record for the longest culinary marathon.
Faila started hers this evening at 12am at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale and will continue it until January 5 or so.

The current official record is held by Alan Fisher, but Mama D, a Ugandan chef, has unofficially surpassed him, so Chef Tamale must beat him too.

Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak’s Achievements And Career

Failatu Abdul Razak is the owner and founder of Mickey’s Inn. A continental restaurant in the heart of the Northern Region capital, Tamale.

She opened the restaurant in 2017 and has been serving the best dishes to customers ever since, bringing them in and out of her store every day.

She is also a team member of the Ijbah Ghana Foundation, a non-profit government organization (NGO) that aims to help and assist orphans in the city. Thanks to the NGO, Faila and her team have served meals to many orphans through her restaurant, bringing them joy and smiles.
