Armed robbers assaulted Ashanti Gold, a Ghana Premier League club, as they traveled from Accra to Obuasi following their Sunday night play versus Hearts of Oak.
The criminals fired three shots at the bus, but no one was hurt, according to the club’s Twitter account.

As “the team driver muddled his way through a horrific scene of shooting,” the thieves fired three bullets through the front bulletproof glass.
It was lucky that no one was seriously injured. As a last note, “the entire team is safe in Obuasi,” the message read.
Approximately one hour after midnight, an accident happened on the Accra – Assin Endwa route.
