Frank Chati Bechuba, a former Academic Affairs chairperson of the University of Health and Allied Sciences Student’s Representative Council (UHAS SRC) declared his intention to contest for Students’ Representative Council (SRC) a few months ago and has successfully passed the vetting recently held by the electoral commission.
Frank Chati popularly known as “Honorable” made his intention known to ……. through his campaign manager to join this year’s SRC Presidential race.
The level 400 student from the School of Medicine at the University who wants to lead the students front at the University of Health and Allied Sciences comes to you with an open mind and the hope of serving students in the role of SRC president.
He is selfless, sacrificial, proactive, humble, strategic, experienced, and development-oriented.
He claims that although many of us no longer have trust in the SRC administration for plainly clear reasons that do not require more explanation, we nevertheless possess the ability to be optimistic in the face of failures and losses.
He is emphatic that they still have hope and will use their collective negotiating power to pursue the accomplishment of our collective goals.
He stated that the desire to step forth and carry out the duty of assisting students comes after four years of being on campus and making critical observations about students’ requirements and what they all consider to be the most important among those demands.
“I believe the moment has come for us to refocus our efforts and include all of the advances that we have previously perceived as being achievable via our joint efforts.”

A BRIEF LEADERSHIP PROFILE OF FRANK CHATI BECHUBA
Frank Chati has had the distinction of serving in numerous roles at the forefront of student welfare throughout the years, providing him with a wealth of knowledge from which to learn.
In no particular sequence, the following times and periods where he had the honor of serving his fellow students might be mentioned:
POSITIONS HELD AND ACHIEVEMENTS.
He was the General Secretary of the Science Students Association in high school (Kumasi Anglican Senior High School (SUPER KASS)). (The academic year 2015/2016).
During his time at UHAS, he served in the roles of Academic Affairs Committee Chairperson, UHAS- SRC Scholarship Committee Member (2020/2021 academic year), MSA Health Committee Member (2020/2021 academic year), and Parliamentarian UHAS SRC: 2020/2021 academic year).
He was part of the administration that brought onboard Ayalolo bus and when I come we shall negotiate for more buses to come onboard.
Some of his work experiences are as follows, BOBRiches Group of Companies, Nkoranza: Assistant Financial Accountant (2016-2017, while awaiting my WASSCE Results), and Personal Assistance to the DCE, PRU WEST CONSTITUENCY (2017-2018).
He cannot adequately express the incredibly rich experiences he had while executing the aforementioned duties, but they were unquestionably moments of intensive service to his coworkers.
And as one might anticipate, his efforts were rewarded by well-meaning bodies due to his remarkable achievements in the aforementioned areas.
Among them are, Certificate Outstanding School prefect (St. Stephen RC JHS), Prize Winner Overall best student of the year (St. Stephen R/C JHS), Certificate of Appreciation – Science students Association, Kumasi Anglican Senior High School, Certificate of appreciation Medical Students Association (MSA) Health Committee towards 2020/2021 Mental Health Awareness Campaign, Citation UHAS SRC 2020/2021 Academic year for my dedication and service to UHAS Students, The Prestigious Local NUGs awards Nominee Parliamentarian of the year(2020/2021), The prestigious Local NUGs awards nominee Student Politician of the year (2021/2022), and Most Promising Student Leader Of The Year (2021/2022 Academic year).
He has great confidence in the accomplishments they will make with him as their leader. Frank Chati has solidified his view that the finest years of UHAS SRC are just across the corner.
Therefore, even as he announces his purpose today, he encourages you to work with him and mobilize support behind him.
